For the first time the Austrian national team players appeared in public with the world championships mascot
Since one year Dornbirn tourism and Team Aktiv an event and ticket agency are running with great success a ticket office in the biggest shopping mall in Dornbirn. On this occasion top sportsmen from well-known clubs were invited to an autograph session at the “Messepark”.
600 fans were celebrating their stars very closely.
On Thursday, 8 June 2010 hundreds of fans managed to grab one of the highly coveted orange fan T-shirts with personal autographs of their favourite players. Beside the ice hockey cracks of Bulldog Dornbirn, football players of SCR Altach, Austria Lustenau and FC Dornbirn most surprisingly just the roll hockey national team players attracted most of the fans.
A very special highlight was the presentation of the roll hockey club Dornbirn. As organiser of the B-world championships they already made a selective advertising. In the course of this presentation the official world championships mascot was introduced for the first time. The mascot cut a fine figure as lucky fairy when picking the winner of the big “ticketshop-Gewinnspiels”. Among others 70 tickets were drawn by lots for sports and cultural events in the state Vorarlberg as well as complimentary tickets for the B-roll hockey world championships in Dornbirn.
